However, when you use our optional GiftFinder AI feature, certain information is sent securely to our cloud services to provide personalized gift suggestions powered by artificial intelligence.
Information We Do NOT Collect (Local Storage)
The following data is NOT collected or transmitted to our servers and remains stored locally on your device:
- Your complete gift lists and gift ideas
- Full contact information you store in the App
- Event details or special occasions
- Reminder settings or notifications
- Any personal notes or descriptions (except when explicitly using GiftFinder AI)
- Photos or images you add to gifts
- Budget or pricing information
- Any other content you create within the App that is not used with GiftFinder AI
All of this core data remains on your device only.
Information We DO Collect (GiftFinder AI Service)
When you choose to use the GiftFinder AI feature, the following information may be sent to our secure cloud services:
Contact-Based Search
- Age, gender, and interests you provide
- Occasion type (birthday, anniversary, etc.)
- Budget range you specify
Custom Search
- Custom search queries you enter
- Search parameters and preferences
- Budget range you specify
Technical Data
- Request timestamp
- General error logs for service improvement
- Anonymized usage statistics
Important: GiftFinder AI is optional. Data is only sent when you actively request gift suggestions. All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
- Your core personal content (gift lists, events, contacts, reminders) is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms
- We use encryption where available to protect your data on your device
- You are responsible for securing your device with passwords, PINs, or biometric authentication
Cloud Storage (GiftFinder AI)
- When you use GiftFinder AI, search parameters are transmitted securely to our cloud services
- Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
- Search parameters are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently
- Anonymized usage statistics may be retained to improve service quality
- We use Microsoft Azure cloud services, which comply with industry-standard security practices
Data Retention
Local Data
- Your personal content remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data
- We have no ability to recover your locally stored data once it is deleted from your device
GiftFinder AI Data
- Search queries and parameters are used in real-time and are not stored permanently
- Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months to improve service quality
- You can request deletion of any identifiable data by contacting us

Children's Privacy
