By accessing or using GiftReminder (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use GiftReminder. Due to optional AI features (GiftFinder AI) that process user data, users should meet this minimum age requirement.

2. Service Description

GiftReminder helps you organize gift ideas, track events, set reminders, and manage contacts. The App includes:

  • Local storage of gift lists, events and contacts
  • Reminder and notification system
  • Planning and tracking of gift giving

GiftFinder AI (Optional)

An optional cloud-based AI feature that:

  • Provides personalized gift suggestions based on contact info or searches
  • Uses Azure OpenAI Service for processing
  • Requires internet connectivity
  • Sends search parameters to secure cloud services for processing (see Privacy Policy)

3. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to bypass security features
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Abuse GiftFinder with excessive or inappropriate requests
  • Use GiftFinder to generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of GiftReminder and its licensors.

AI-Generated Content

Gift suggestions produced by GiftFinder are provided for informational purposes only and are provided "as is". We do not guarantee their accuracy or suitability; you are responsible for purchase decisions.

5. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you store in the App. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we process information.

  • Local data: stored on your device
  • GiftFinder data: processed temporarily by secure cloud services

6. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

AI-Specific Disclaimer

AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate or unsuitable. Use your judgment when acting on GiftFinder suggestions. We are not responsible for purchases made based on AI suggestions.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GIFTREMINDER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR AI SUGGESTIONS.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice before new terms take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
